Bio: Skyler is an upcoming 21 year old singer/songwriter from Maine who has been performing since the third grade. He combines rock with pop and country! Some call him the male version of Taylor Swift! He released his first full-length CD in the 9th grade and has released four others since. Recently he released his newest EP entitled “Take You Away” and was featured on the X-Factor.
Why he is the artist of the week: We were impressed with Skyler’s talent as soon as we heard him. His twangy voice paired with more rock sounding music is a nice kind of different. He’s also achieved a lot recently, showing off his hard work and persistence. Watch for him on the X-Factor this season!

Hillary and Rachel (the creators of HRC) have been best friends for over five years, but what truly seems like forever. They first bonded over their love for the same music and TV shows. To this day they have been to over 100 concerts. Together they have also watched countless TV shows from start to finish Hillary has a passion for reality TV, while Rachel tends to enjoy scripted dramas. Rachel also has a love for fantasy novels and continues to try and convince Hillary to read them as well! So far no such luck ;)
