The Parlotones, a rock band from South Africa, have toured the world promoting their music. In 2005, The Parlotones took off when their debut album was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2006 South Africa Music Awards and won! Since then their song “Beautiful” was used in an Irish Fujifilm commercial, they have performed over 70 shows in the UK, and have won countless awards in the USA. Hillary and Rachel (the creators of HRC) have been best friends for over five years, but what truly seems like forever. They first bonded over their love for the same music and TV shows. To this day they have been to over 100 concerts. Together they have also watched countless TV shows from start to finish Hillary has a passion for reality TV, while Rachel tends to enjoy scripted dramas. Rachel also has a love for fantasy novels and continues to try and convince Hillary to read them as well! So far no such luck ;)
